Some places stand the test of time, not just in beauty but in spirit. Meadowood Napa Valley’s spa is one of them. Tucked into a lush corner of California wine country, this iconic retreat has weathered challenges—including the devastating wildfires of 2020—yet remains a sanctuary of healing, elegance, and impeccable care. Today, under the steady leadership of Spa Manager Jennifer Brunetti, the spa continues to thrive, upheld by a loyal, skilled team and a devotion to personalized service.
Now, Meadowood Spa marks another milestone with the exclusive debut of the Pietro Simone Corrective Lift Facial—the first destination in North America to offer this revolutionary treatment. This thoughtfully curated addition reflects Meadowood’s enduring commitment to innovation, artistry, and authentic care.
A Debut Worthy of Meadowood
When I received an invitation from Meadowood to be among the first to experience the Pietro Simone Corrective Lift Facial, I knew it was an opportunity not to be missed. I’ve long been a fan of Pietro since he first laid his magical hands on my face at his skincare clinic in New York’s Soho.

The invitation described a comprehensive skincare journey blending five advanced technologies—radio-frequency, micro-current, ultrasound, LED therapy, and molecular vibration—with five of Pietro Simone’s signature facial massages. To make the debut even more exceptional, Pietro Simone himself would be on property, personally performing the facial for the inaugural guests of the Corrective Lift Facial.
It had been nearly a decade since I last visited Meadowood—my previous stay marked the debut of its newly unveiled Meadowood Spa in 2015, part of a $60 million property-wide renovation. I still remember stepping into the Howard Backen–designed space, where reclaimed wood beams, hand-forged steel, and organic textures created a sanctuary deeply connected to the surrounding landscape. Each treatment suite, complete with a private steam shower and forest views, felt like a world apart. Now, nearly ten years later, I returned to experience Meadowood Spa’s next evolution: the launch of Pietro Simone’s Corrective Lift Facial.
“We’re thrilled to offer Pietro Simone’s innovative treatments at Meadowood Spa and honored to be the first to debut his latest work, bringing groundbreaking treatments rooted in skin science to our guests,” Jennifer shared. Her pride is palpable—a testament to Meadowood’s pursuit of excellence.
To experience this launch at Meadowood Spa—a place that has gracefully endured while evolving—felt like witnessing a perfect meeting of innovation and tradition.
In an increasingly fast-paced, tech-driven world, Meadowood Spa offers a return to human touch, authenticity, and connection.
A Visionary Approach Meets a Legendary Spa
At the heart of the Corrective Lift Facial is beauty visionary Pietro Simone, whose 25-plus years of hands-on experience across multiple countries and cultures have shaped a skincare line defined by expertise and innovation. Every product he creates reflects his meticulous attention to detail, merging clean beauty principles with biotechnology and longevity science.

Pietro Simone at Meadowood Spa
“The Corrective Lift Facial represents the culmination of over two decades of innovation and research into the science of skin rejuvenation,” Pietro says. “This treatment is designed not just to lift the skin but to rejuvenate it from within, working on multiple levels—from the muscles to the skin’s deepest layers.”
This non-invasive facial orchestrates a symphony of precision: stimulating collagen synthesis, fortifying skin elasticity, and redefining facial contours for visible, transformative results. “By combining advanced technologies with my signature massage techniques, we can offer a truly holistic, non-invasive solution that improves the skin’s appearance and health,” Pietro explains.
“Spas have been notoriously left out of technological advancements—whether by their own choice or otherwise,” Pietro adds. “But the world has evolved. Beauty has evolved. Clients have evolved. It’s all about understanding the client’s skincare needs and primary concerns—and then acting directly and effectively to address them.”
Jennifer affirms the treatment’s impact: “Pietro’s passion for his line is incredible. The integrity is there—his products do what they say, and he stands behind them.” Since its January launch, the Corrective Lift has quickly gained momentum among Meadowood guests, many of whom have begun incorporating Pietro’s products into their own skincare rituals after seeing visible results.
The treatment is available in 60-, 90-, and 120-minute sessions, with each tier adding deeper layers of technique—from micro-current and LED therapy to high-frequency and intra-oral massage. “In this day and age, people are looking for results—and you get that with the Corrective Lift,” Jennifer notes.
A Leader Who Knows the Heart of the Spa
Jennifer, who has been with Meadowood for over two decades and took the reins as Spa Manager after the devastating 2020 wildfires, embodies the spa’s enduring magic. “I think the magic is the staff,” she tells me. “We have such amazing people who work here—such longevity, which is unusual in a spa setting. They’re truly in this industry because they want to be healers. They want to give all of themselves to the treatments they do.”

The Garden Lounge at Meadowood Spa
Her words ring true as I observe the care, intention, and customization at every turn. It’s no coincidence that many team members, like my warm and knowledgeable massage therapist Diane, have been at Meadowood for 16, 18, even 20 years. “You can have a beautiful facility, which we’re blessed to have,” Jennifer reflects, “but it’s the level of service, the care—they are giving all of themselves to their client, and that is felt.”
The spa itself remains a jewel, meticulously maintained as a testament to the original vision of architect Howard Backen. “There’s so much pride here,” Jennifer adds. “We want it to look like it was just built yesterday.”
A Spa Day Designed for Presence
Beyond its treatment menu, what sets Meadowood Spa apart is its design for deep presence and lingering restoration. Guests who book a treatment enjoy exclusive access to the Garden Lounge, complete with steam, sauna, and mineral soaking pool—a serene enclave intentionally reserved for spa patrons. “We wanted it that way because they aren’t giant areas,” Jennifer explains. “But they’re peaceful, relaxing.”
Signature offerings like the Essential Journey extend the spa experience even further. This 30-minute add-on surrounds a booked treatment with an aromatherapy steam shower, guided oil selection, and gentle recovery ritual, including a cold-pressed juice and personalized wellness guidance. “It makes a huge difference,” Jennifer says. “It gets guests into the right mind frame before their treatment.”
The spa’s private suites, including the Treehouse Retreat, are especially popular, inviting guests to linger, soak, meditate, or enjoy lunch from the spa’s dedicated culinary menu—crafted with fresh, local ingredients. “We encourage people to spend hours with us, not just 60 minutes,” Jennifer emphasizes. “We want people to be still.”
A Haven of Care

The new line of Corrective Lift products
The introduction of the Corrective Lift Facial expands Meadowood Spa’s thoughtfully curated menu, reinforcing its commitment to meaningful, results-driven experiences. “We’ve always focused on quality over quantity,” Jennifer says. “Everything we offer is purposeful, effective, and delivered with care.”
In an increasingly fast-paced, tech-driven world, Meadowood Spa offers a return to human touch, authenticity, and connection. “When tech is taking over a little,” Jennifer reflects, “it’s important to get back to basics.”
For more than half a century, Meadowood Napa Valley has been a place where service, serenity, and nature converge. With the debut of Pietro Simone’s Corrective Lift Facial, Meadowood proves once again that embracing innovation doesn’t mean losing soul—it means elevating care, staying true to its roots, and continuing to inspire those lucky enough to walk through its doors.
