5 Ways to Connect with Nature at L’Auberge de Sedona

One of the Southwest’s top luxury wellness destinations, L’Auberge de Sedona offers a wide variety of Sedona-esque programming for guests to #OptOutside, breathe in the fresh air of Sedona, and connect to naturally healing properties of the surrounding environment. Some of the nature-inspired programming at this resort spa includes:

Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing is designed to help guests connect with nature on a greater level by inviting them to experience their surroundings in new ways during a walking meditation session. Certified Forest Bathing Facilitators lead guests into a timelessness shift where they immerse and commune with nature.

Feet in the Creek at L’Apothecary Spa

Feet in the Creek is a playful treatment that facilitates a three-part connection between the earth, nature and the guest. This creekside experience begins with a guided to step into the ankle-deep water to breathe in the fresh Sedona air and listen to the soothing sounds of Oak Creek before a foot reflexology treatment.

Moonlit Meditation

This is held around full moon phases at Serenity Point, the resort’s outdoor spiritual space alongside Oak Creek. These gentle, guided meditation sessions help guests find inner peace and rejuvenation.

Star Bathing

Star Bathing is an adaptation of the property’s renowned Shinrin-Yoku or “Forest Bathing.”  A certified Forest Bathing facilitator guides guests toward heightening their senses when vision is reduced by darkness of night and awakens the senses to the smell of the fresh water flowing through the creek, the rustle of the leaves, the taste in the wind; all while slowing down to meet the calm natural wonders of night.

Blending Session at L’Apothecary Spa

The L’Apothecary Spa lobby was inspired by an old-fashioned apothecary where guests can select ingredients, herbs, oils, and local botanicals to concoct and design their own bath soaks and body scrubs with an abundant offering of powerful elements found in Sedona, including rosemary, piñon pine, juniper, and more. The highly trained staff of L’Auberge de Sedona offers a personalized approach with a focus on delivering signature services, utilizing classic techniques completely in harmony with the natural setting.
