“It’s all about being in the position to be able to help,” says Mitch Jucha, Senior Adoption Leader, Zenoti, a cloud based software company used by spas, salons, fitness and yoga studios. “If I can help, why wouldn’t I help? If the service providers don’t survive, I don’t survive. We’re in it together.” Mitch and I caught up recently to discuss the new Zenoti Gives Back Covid-19 Relief Fund. Launched in April, the relief fund distributes grants to struggling beauty and wellness professionals who have been impacted by business shutdowns, furloughs, and layoffs.
The response to the program has been overwhelming, and to date the relief fund has received over 6,000 applications. What makes this especially touching is that to meet this demand, Zenoti employees alone have contributed close to $100,000 of their own money to the relief fund. “We find ourselves in a fortunate situation—fortunate to have jobs right now,” says Mitch. “For me personally, I was a service provider. I can’t imagine how I’d be feeling right now.”
Zenoti employees alone have contributed close to $100,000 of their own money to the relief fund.
In a generous move, the company matched, and has now exceeded, these contributions, and there are plans to reach nearly 500 individuals throughout the United States, Australia, India, and parts of Southeast Asia.
“When we put out the initial call for donations to our employees, we had no idea everyone would respond so generously,” shares Caroline Hess, Social Media Marketing Manager. “But across our organization there is so much care and love for those in our industry. We’ve received numerous touching testimonials from grant recipients and are humbled by this heartwarming response to our program.”

Zenoti also recently launched a new partnership with Haircuts4Homeless, a UK-based charitable organization. Zenoti is sponsoring a team of volunteers by supplying technology and materials to help individuals in need “feel good and find their greatness.” The company is hoping to replicate Haircuts4Homeless’s mission by partnering with salon professionals in their own community-based charitable activities in the US, as well.
